Saving Lower Point Vicente Speakers: Eva Cicoria of the SaveLPV coalition Jessica Hall, Senior Associate, Restoration Design Group
As many of you know, the 26-acre headland bluff at Lower Point Vicente was threatened with development. In response, a group of concerned citizens contacted the government oversight agencies, and worked to raise awareness of this rare coastal resource. Eventually the Annenberg Foundation withdrew its development plans, and the South Coast Chapter of CNPS hired Jessica Hall to create three alternative visions that preserve the identity of Point Vicente while enhancing its value to the public.
We are gratified to have Eva and Jessica share their stories with us on January 9.
